Early summer her 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. And now her son Matthew, who is 4 is in the hospital with the same diagnosis.

Please pray for Michele and Tim. This is extremely stressful — not just while Matthew gets stabilized, but for every day, day in and day out. It’s the constant pricks for sugar checks, pokes for insulin, and watching the clock, monitoring every meal, counting carbs and proteins. There’s no break.

I’m an insulin dependent gestational diabetic, which means when I get pregnant I’m diabetic and immediately need insulin. I’ve had to do this for only 18 months of my life, and it’s not pleasant. It’s exhausting. My only comfort was knowing that there was an end in sight. There is none for her. I’m worn out thinking about being in her shoes.

Praying Memorares for her and the family…
