My family used this version of the Stations of the Cross, and my mother remembers using it in her childhood. It’s so beautiful and moving. It’s not dumbed down for children, but aimed directly at the child in all of us. My 4 year old son wants to pray them every day.

We always use a flip easel with the Stations images in our prayers (see Living the Liturgical Year in the Home), and our images happen to be the same images in the original booklet I owned. I did these with color, but our version had black and white pictures.

Stations of the Cross Double-Sided, small booklet size
This version is paginated for double sided printing to make into a booklet.

Stations of the Cross for Children-Single Sided, small booklet
This version is landscape form with the one station and image on each page.

Both copies need to be cut down to size, something like 5 1/4″ wide x 6″ long. The cover is on the last page of the landscape form, and I use cardstock for that page.

Stations-2-per-page, Landscape
Another version is one that is Landscape format, 8 1/2 x 11 size, with 2 Stations per page. This we’re using for a simple, group handout.

I found out this summer that Emmanuel Books sells a version of these stations for $1.50. Their version is Black and White pictures, like the original, but the exact same pictures.
